BOWLING LEAGUE
Monday Goodtimers meets on Monday nights at 6:30pm at Lucky Strike in Sterling, VA. The league is open to bowlers of all skill levels. If you have questions, please send an email to mondaygoodtimers@yahoo.com.
Announcements!
The League does not bowl on Labor Day, September 7th!
If you attempted to pay by Zelle on the first night of bowling and tried to pay more than $25.00 the transaction was probably denied and cancelled. This was an issue with the league account and will be resolved soon. We'll ask that you pay just $25.00 for the first few weeks if you want to pay by Zelle.
Please note that I won't be posting people's names or contact information on this site. If you have a question, comment, etc, please send an email to mondaygoodtimers@yahoo.com. We'll make sure the appropriate person gets back to you.
If there is a weather event and you are wondering if the League will be bowling, check here! I'll make sure any decision on whether the league is or isn't bowling is posted as soon as I can.
Important Links
What do I do if I have a question? If you're at the center on League night, come and see one of your league officers any time! Otherwise, please send an email to mondaygoodtimers@yahoo.com and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
If I want to pay the League by check, who do I make that out to? Make checks out to Monday Goodtimers or Monday Goodtimers Bowling League.
What if I have a question about the dates that the League bowls or holidays? See the Events page in the menu above! It contains the calendar for the current and next leagues.
What if I missed the league meeting or want to know what the league bylaws are? See the About page in the menu above! It contains a copy of the league bylaws.
If I want to pre-bowl, what should I do? Please let one of the league officers know of your intentions to pre-bowl. Coordinate with the bowling center for your time. Note that the best times are typically shortly after the center opens and during or directly after any league is bowling for you to get "league conditions" (typically this is just the ability to get two lanes and have the lights on). If the center doesn't or can't provide you league conditions when you go to pre-bowl, USBC rules say you need consent from your league officers to bowl in non-league conditions. You have our consent! If that's the time you have to do it, go ahead. Make sure you take a picture of your score sheet and send it to your teammates or a league officer before you turn it into the desk.
What will the league President do if he gets enough of the same question? I'll add it here to the FAQ!
